Heather is the founder and owner of Murphy Interiors. She found her love for interior design at a young age, always redecorating her room and moving around her furniture. With her eyes on the prize, she found her way to Lawrence Technological University to earn her bachelor's degree in Interior Architecture, while playing soccer for the University, her second love.

She started her journey at a high-end residential interior design firm during her final year of school. After learning an incredible amount from the experienced designers she worked with over the years, she chose to venture out on her own and began her journey in the Birmingham area.

Heather uses her light-hearted approach to design to keep the experience fun and enjoyable. Her key to beautiful design is for everyone to enjoy the process and design with the end-user in mind.
